It was worth its 5 stars. The restaurant was located within 800 feet.
The breakfast was very disappointing, unfortunately.
We truly enjoyed our 2-nights stay. Big room.
Great, blocks from the Bart train stop from the airport, access to shopping
I did not like anything while im staying , and if it was me who gives the hotel stars i will give them 2 stars and it much more than enough for them . I had a really bad stay
very nice room with outstanding view
valet & doorman staff professionalism spotty and not up to par for class of hotel.
the staff were fantastic and the view from the room superb
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and deservces its rating. It is also in a good location; not far from North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf.
My recent stay at the Mandrine was nothing but comfortable. Situated from a walking distant of union square and in a very nice neighborhood. I stayed there for two nights. Staff are very very friendly, from the doorman, bellboy, to the reciptionest. In comparison to previous hotels my room was not that big but I had a good view of the ocean. Room service always told me breakfast will be there in 20-30 minuts but always arrived after 40 minutes exactly. Nevertheless, it was always delicious. They dont have a spa but they arranged for a very Good masseuse to come to my room. Mandarin is now my favorite SF hotel for a great location and comfort.
Stuff was helpfull, nice view from the room.
Not a big choice for breakfast. Concierge told us that some restaurant is closing at 9.30 p.m. and it wasn't true also they didn't advise us to book a table, in general hotel is a bit overpriced for how it looks - bathrooms are old and you can see it in details. The lobby and reception is very dark and not friendly.
Extremely comfortable bed. Loved being high up. The view. Windows opened. Chicken noodle soup. Size. Room layout although if I were with my husband I would prefer a larger room. Quiet. Service. In all areas. Location.
Would be nice if there was a spa.
Location. Nice staff in restaurant and room service.
We booked the room two monthes before we come to the hotel. But when we came there wasn't any room available in this category, only for invalids. When we asked "where is our roome we booked 2 monthes ago?" the hotel saied "We can give U the room only tomorrow" They give us another view (not we asked for). At the end when we were checking out we asked to use the money for paying for the room that they already blocked on our credit card using the same code of transaction. The boy on reception desk says "Ok!" But the next day after check out when we were in another city this hotel took the money from our credit cart again without our agreement. So, for now they have our money twice! And we can have it back only when we arrive home and go to our bank! But we need it here while we are traveling! Terrible! I don't know who give the wrights to the hotel to take the money of the clients twice without our agreement!?!
